Shitty first draft

Shitty first draft

So I actually had to reschedule my interview – again – because he didn’t have time after all this last week, but I will have  a new interview again next week and in the meantime I have contacted an author who is from Norway . – so lets see what I end up with. The good thing is that whoever I end up interviewing, they are both working  with the exact same thing, - business development and coaching.

My final paper is going to be about not only dreaming your dreams, but actually living them and how to reach your goals in life. What makes a business or a person successful

FINAL PAPERRRRR

Making an online portfolio

Brainstorm:

Following and shaping your dreams
How to stop dreaming your life but living it like you imagined
How to put an idea into real life
Taking the leap isn’t as scary as you might think

Tell about his story, from childhood, how he started his company, but not too much about him as a person, rather write about how to make success and what makes you success full, what are the key elements. What separates a winner from a looser? Is persistency and no quitting the answer?

----

Why should you follow your dreams?

Because they make life worth living. Whether its about being the best version of your self, being a kick-ass teacher or to become a millionaire - goals are important to us. They give life meaning and when you have a goal it's easier to make and find the path you want to walk in life. We are often asked what's the meaning of life; I think that the meaning with life is to be happy, not kinda, sorta' happy, but really, truly happy. I don't think we were put on this planet to just work 9-5 in a job that we hate, counting down the hours to when your workday is over. You should get up in the morning with a smile on your face. At least that is what I think.

And that is what Berteig Larsen is doing in his life. Early on in his life he knew that life was all about being happy with what you do. He didn't realise this before he started in the military, where he went trough "hell week" in Norway and wrote a book about it.

  1. Hey Athina! I know that you'll end up getting your interview and publish a great paper. I love your topic about not letting your dreams be dreams. Im a very optimistic person with a lot of ambition, like yourself and many of our classmates at Antioch. This makes it very relatable to your audience making it an enjoyable read. Well good luck and can't wait to see the finished product.

  2. Hi Athina, I am sorry that you have been having trouble getting your interview set up. Hopefully you were able to meet with someone by now. I really like the topic that you have chosen. Also, it is great that you have started brainstorming possible angles for your paper before having all the evidence. I hope the interview goes well! Good luck with your paper. Tereza

  3. I'm sorry about the difficulties trying to schedule an interview. I hope you have something worked out by now. I really enjoy your optimism even though you're facing this problem. What caught my attention the most is when you said, "I don't think we were put on this planet to just work 9-5 in a job that we hate, counting down the hours to when your workday is over." People should have a job that they love. If they are currently working as something they don't enjoy, then they should keep looking until they feel at their ultimate best. Good luck with the rest of your paper, and hope for the best outcome.
